There are people who like paint, and there are those who like wallpaper. The question of who is better paint or wallpaper - not quite correct, because it all depends on your task. In a nutshell the main features are:

Paint

- Absolutely any shade you need is achievable
- Longer-lasting coverage for decades
- Perfectly washable easy to care for, glossy paint washes well, super matte worse
- Cracks can occur when a house shrinks
- Restored, the crack is sealed with putty and painted over
- What we paint and what we like: Benjamin Moore Aura, Argile

Wallpaper

- Fleece and paper are afraid of water
- Vinyl is washable, but not environmentally friendly
- No visible cracks in the shrinkage of the house
- Less vandal resistant to animal scratches
- If the wallpaper is damaged, it can't be repainted, but the paint can
- What brands do we like: Fresco

Paintable wallpaper

There is a nuance with the thickness of the wallpaper, the higher their density, the better and the less will be noticeable that the paper under the paint There are embossed wallpaper for painting but they look very cheap, the result is visually repair of economy class.

In my opinion, painting is a more versatile solution, it is suitable for areas that get dirty and for wet areas, can be easily updated and restored. In what cases is it unambiguous: only wallpaper? If you want a special pattern and pattern, if you like English classic interiors. Only the designer will choose the exact solution that suits you, sometimes I was in the cottages, where in one room there are 5 types of wallpaper with different patterns!
