Objective
The house is located in a picturesque mountainous area and should convey the ascetic and whiteness of the mountain peaks that open from the windows of the house.
The house should clearly reflect the spirit and character of its owner, a lover of asceticism and privacy, who appreciates the most functional spaces, a minimum of things.
Solution
Since the client is engaged in geology and loves mountains, we decided to offer a solution using textures of stones and rocks, natural minerals, and to make the floor even concrete. We chose a monochrome palette in order to maximize the shape and architecture of the house.
The 1614.59 sq.ft. house has only three rooms. They are the living room 322.92 sq.ft. combined with the kitchen 290.63 sq.ft. and the bedroom 269.1 sq.ft. along with a lounge area 161.46 sq.ft. and a small bathroom 161.46 sq.ft. It is good that the customer turned to us at the stage of construction of the house, so the rearrangement and transfer of walls was not necessary.
Living room on top of a volcano
The living room is laconic in color, with only black, gray and white.
Walls - paint and decorative plaster, floor - micro concrete, wallpaper with hand-painted Fresco.

Features of the living room
In order to emphasize the exclusivity and masculine nature of the interior, we chose the image of a volcano.
The unusual round fireplace in the center of the living room resembles its mouth. And in the living room itself there are large forms of the mineral obsidian, a real frozen lava of the volcano.

The main idea of the bedroom is to create the effect of maximum open space in which it is pleasant to fall asleep and wake up. Strict and cool, it does not attract unnecessary attention, thereby the eye is directed directly to the picturesque mountain peaks.
High ceilings of almost four meters, white milky walls with delicate texture of natural stone, as well as a huge stained-glass window across the wall visually enhances the volume of the room.
The metal cube framing the bed echoes the window frames and emphasizes the masculine nature of the bedroom.

Lounge area
The lounge area is located in the bedroom, but it has 161.46 m2. It is a place for two people, where you can have a cup of coffee when you wake up or sit in the evening with a book.
Fresco wallpaper with exotic leaves, whose shape is quoted from a nearby hanging lamp, add to the bedroom interior atmosphere of a warm tropical forest.

The 161.46 sq.ft. bathroom was done in the dark style of the whole house. The main texture that is used in it is a wood dark walnut. The walls are made in veneer of this wood, the floors are porcelain stoneware.
The Rimadezio partitions and the natural light from the window in the ceiling make this bathtub charming and respectable at the same time.
