Zen-style condominium

GreenPark152_Livingroom_01.jpg

Objective

Create a cozy bright interior for a family of two people: a mother and a little daughter. Use light colors: milk, white, light brown, beige, light gray, soft natural tones.

The style of the interior is modern classics.

Solution

The 1368 sq.ft. apartment had already gone through the rough stages of renovation on the first design project, but the customer did not like it, so we had to start from scratch and take down some walls in the kitchen, hallway, bathrooms and corridor.

The end result is a large 646.37 sq.ft. living-kitchen, with a 126.05 sq.ft. dining area on the balcony. From the hallway, a hallway adjacent to the 61.78 sq.ft. bathroom leads to two bedrooms: the mother's bedroom of 188.37 sq.ft., and the girl's nursery of 165.23 sq.ft. Adjacent to the apartment entrance is a small 44.13 sq.ft. walk-in closet.

Living room

In the center of the spacious 486.64 sq.ft. living room is a large three-meter long, soft-white Ditre sofa and a custom veneer coffee table.

A large TV and a fireplace enclosed in glass stand out noticeably against the minimalist wall with Orac Decor moldings.

The entire living room has high floor-to-ceiling windows and a ceiling height of 11,81 ft.

Features of the living room

The living room is held in a light natural palette of milky white tones with rich warm brown floors.

In the finishing used natural materials, paint Benjamine Moore Aura, floorboard Coswick.

Delicate shades of white combined with soft dark accents and natural wood create a special chic.

Space for the whole family to relax

The spacious living room has only the bare essentials, a Ditre sofa with a coffee table and a recliner chair, the same small sofa, but for one.

There are no closets or other furniture in the living room because the family is small, and the large open space with floor-to-ceiling windows and 11,81 ft. ceiling looks even more majestic.

The living room has three functional areas: a TV area with a sofa, a lounge area with an armchair, and a separate empty area to the left of the sofa, which the customers requested to make for the Christmas tree, about 129.17 sq.ft.

The horizontal veneer cabinet with the texture of dark oak and bright live flame of the fireplace create a natural coziness.

Kitchen

The kitchen should be large, with an island and a breakfast bar, with plenty of cabinet space, and definitely with a separate refrigerator and freezer. Also the kitchen should have its own TV, which you can watch while cooking food. These were the wishes of the customer and we did everything he asked. Plus, we put a storage water heater and water softener in the kitchen cabinets.

At 129.17 sq.ft. we placed a corner kitchen with an island and a bar counter. The bar zoned the kitchen and the living room.

Bedroom

The customer wanted the bedroom to be a place of relaxation and creativity, for the bedroom to be bright and cozy.

We designed just such a bedroom, and in addition, it is very harmonious, functional and comfortable. The entire wall to the right of the bed is taken up by the closet, to the left by the makeup and creativity workspace and two windows opposite the bed, so that the bedroom is very light.

Spotlights create soft lighting in the evening, and a two-level backlit ceiling makes the bedroom look more majestic.

Bathroom

The landlady had special requirements for the bathroom: it had to be large and warm in atmosphere. Initially it was a classic bathroom interior, but in the course of the work the client wanted a more minimalist look.

And while the bathroom itself is small, only 60.28 sq.ft., we put a really large and deep Villeroy & Boch 5.91 ft. x 2.62 ft. x 1.53 ft. bathtub in that area.

In order to create harmony and charm, we used a proven combination of natural materials - travertine and wood.
