Objective
Create a minimalist and functional modern interior for a family of young graphic designers using soft, natural colors.
Solution
In the 393.7 sq.ft. single-story cottage, we placed a spacious living room of 651.22 sq.ft. adjacent to the 150.69 sq.ft. kitchen, and a small bedroom of 172.22 sq.ft. and a bathroom of 94.51 sq.ft.
We were approached during the construction phase of the house, so the customers didn't have to redesign. The result is a stylish space for two people in which it is comfortable to live and create.
Living Room. Dawn in a quiet forest.
High ceilings of 11.98 ft. give a sense of grandeur. and large panoramic windows, fill the entire living room with light.
Light Kahrs parquet combines with the milky walls and creates an atmosphere of lightness and tenderness. To create a contrast, a light gray Ditre sofa and dark green curtains are added to the interior.
Lounge area by the fireplace
Part of the living room is occupied by concealed full-wall cabinets, which are decorated with a Dimplex Cassete 1000 fireplace and a pair of elegant Minotti Leslie chairs.
An inset of dark noble marble in the cabinets supports the dark color of the chairs, drawing attention to the fireplace.
Lily Samer
The combination of a large number of light textures with dark marble and shiny glass accents reinforces the impression of premiumism.

Cappuccino kitchen
The customer's wife likes coffee and given the neutral natural color scheme that they like, we suggested doing the kitchen in the color cappuccino.
The 150.69 sq.ft. kitchen is small and only accommodates a 6-person Genio Bontempi table.
A decorative light fixture woven from rattan adds a sense of nature and naturalness to the kitchen.
Hall and entrance hall
The hall is presented in dark anthracite tones, Benjamin Moore Aura paint and decorated with decorative plaster panels.
In the hallway, too, everything is only the most necessary: a mirror, a bench and a closet for things.
Bathroom
The bathroom combines natural textures of materials: wood and stone. Milk and gray marble porcelain stoneware, and a cabinet with a light oak veneer.
A striking accent of the bathroom is a shiny shimmering silver mother of pearl sink, it resembles a shell, in which you can find a pearl.
The washer and dryer are lined up in a column in the corner of the bathroom.
Bathroom by the bedroom
We decided to make the second bathroom more delicate and light, and it is made with porcelain stoneware with the effect of travertine.
The small space of 45.42 sq.ft. accommodates a sink, a 5.58 ft. bathtub and a toilet.
A large mirror increases the amount of light and visually expands the room.

Bedroom
We made the gentle beige bedroom more romantic with palm leaf prints on the wall.
Opposite the bed is a blue abstract painting reminiscent of a nautical theme and a seashell. Next to it is a plant supporting a picture of palm trees on the other wall.
The bedroom is very bright and has two windows.
